Mark has a doctoral degree from Louisiana State University, where he graduated in 2003 after completing a dissertation on southern politicians and the Vietnam War. Mark has long been playing and recording music, but since he finished grad school, he’s been back and forth between New Orleans and Nashville. His latest group is Carson Station. They are a country outfit that has a new single and are working on putting out not one, but two albums.
